Premium Quality Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)
QUANTUM Mustang 13000 is a new generation premium quality automatic transmission fluid specially formulated and field tested for Proton cars in which the conventional Dexron type automatic transmission fluids are not suitable for use.
It is formulated from highly refined high viscosity index mineral oils and special additives system to provide excellent antiwear, corrosion resistance, friction retention, and thermal and oxidation stability at high temperatures as well as excellent low temperature characteristics (below -40C), thereby providing excellent protection under the widest extremes of operating conditions. Its unique friction-modifying properties ensure consistent, smooth shifts and shudder-free transmission operation in all driving conditions. Superior protection against wear and improved transmission cleanliness contribute to extended transmission life.
Applications
Recommended for use in automatic transmissions for Proton cars in which Dexron type fluid is not suitable. It is also suitable for use in cars fitted with Mitsubishi type automatic transmissions or automatic transmission equipped with slip controlled torque converter where the use of ATF-8 type fluid is specified.
