Non-EP Gear Oils for Light Duty Manual Transmissions
QUANTUM Squadron 18000 oils are premium quality straight mineral automotive gear oils primarily intended for use in automotive transmissions and drive axles which do not require extreme pressure hypoid-type lubricants.
They are formulated from premium quality mineral oils which strongly resist oxidation and oil thickening in long-term service at high temperatures. They are highly resistant to foaming and afford good protection against staining, rusting and corrosion. Their low pour points ensure positive circulation at low ambient temperatures.
Applications
Recommended for the lubrication of commercial vehicle manual transmissions and drive axles which do not require extreme pressure or hypoid characteristics. They are suitable for worm drives where high bulk temperatures prevail above 100oC and may also be used for reduction gears for tractors, and industrial machineries where API GL-1 gear oils are specified.
