SPIRIT SYN IR
Synthetic Compressor Oil
Quantum Spirit SYN IR is a blend of premium synthetic oils formulated for rotary compressor that use poly-glycol (PAG) lubricants.
It employs a proprietary additive package specifically formulated for rotary compressors operating at high pressure and discharge temperatures.
Applications
Recommended for the lubrication of:
- Oil-flooded rotary compressors (vane, lobe, and screw-type) that specify a poly-glycol lubricant.
Compatibility
- Compatible with the following seals and elastomeric materials: Viton, High Nitrile Buna N, Nylon, Delrin, Celcon, PBT, Oil-Resistant Alkyd Teflon.
Customer Benefits
- Resists wash off by hydrocarbon gases and liquids.
- Resists absorption into the gas phase and carry-over of the lubricant downstream.
- Minimizes dilution effects due to insolubility of the lubricant with hydrocarbons
- Higher film-strength that traditional lubricants.
- Protects against corrosion.
- Fully compatible with most compressor component materials, including: seals, gaskets, hoses, etc.
