HYDRAULIC 13000

Phosphate Ester Fire Resistant Hydraulic Fluid

QUANTUM Hydraulic 13000 is the most popular ester fluid and is widely used in many industrial hydraulic applications, e.g. die-casting machines, steel mills, forging shops, foundries etc.

QUANTUM Hydraulic SYN FP does not contain any chlorinated compounds. This minimizes problems of odor, toxicity and packing deterioration.

QUANTUM Hydraulic SYN FP offers good fire-resistance plus the excellent lubricity necessary for heavily loaded bearings. Its lubricating ability equals that of normal petroleum oils.

Applications

QUANTUM Hydraulic SYN FP is stable up to operation temperatures of about 80C (175F). The regular operating temperature should be above 45C (115F).

In case of low environmental temperatures, QUANTUM Hydraulic SYN FP maybe pre-heated (not more than 1 W/cm2 heat-flow) to avoid starting problems of the hydraulic due to too high viscosity.

QUANTUM Hydraulic SYN FP is stable in long-time storage; if frozen, it can be thawed and used without harm. If petroleum oil contamination is more than 3-5%, this will reduce the fire-resistance significantly.

Compatibility

QUANTUM Hydraulic SYN FP has no effect on metals if the fluid is kept in good condition, that means the neutralization number may not exceed the limit of 1,0 mg KO H/g QUANTUM Hydraulic SYN FP . It is compatible with Viton and butyl rubber seals but not neoprene or "Buna N" (NBR) seals.

18 Liters pail, 209 Liters Drum.
