Premium Quality 23 TBN Medium Speed Diesel Engine Oils

Quantum Hornet 14000 oils are a premium quality cylinder and crankcase oils designed for use in high specific output medium-speed trunk piston diesel engines (marine or stationary service) burning high sulphur residual fuels (up to 2.0 %wt sulphur) operating under the most severe operating conditions.

It is manufactured using the finest quality base oils and advanced additives system to provide outstanding residual fuel compatibility characteristics for excellent engine cleanliness, especially in crankcase and camshaft areas. They provide excellent high temperature oxidation and thermal stability, low volatility, excellent load carrying properties and superior corrosion protection.

Applications

Recommended for the lubrication of medium-speed trunk piston engines burning high sulphur residual fuels either as main propulsion or auxiliary diesel engines on deep-sea vessels, and as main propulsion on coastal and river ships. It is also suitable for the lubrication of most reduction gears used with medium speed engines.
